CEF Durham

Meet Us in Durham

CEF’s Durham branch was established the summer of 2011, and serves members living in Durham, NC.

The CEF-Durham advocate team consists of 40 advocates from Duke University who meet members on-site at transitional housing communities across Durham. We work closely with staff at our partner sites to coordinate resident care with CEF’s financial services.

We also host Opportunity Classes and laptop classes for the Laptop Savings program.

Currently, CEF hosts Finance Office Hours once a week at the following partner sites:

Dove House
Recovery community for women, run by Housing for New Hope
Phoenix House
Recovery community for men, run by Housing for New Hope
Genesis Home
Transitional housing for families
Urban Ministries of Durham

beyu_smBeyu Caffe
We partner with our downtown coffeehouse to host Saturday afternoon office hours for Members who have graduated from transitional housing
